At TCET, every department has 4-6 domains. As per the domains, these courses are mainly offered in third year and final years. Each student is required to take two courses from multiple groups per semester for four semesters. These course options will enable the students to develop the foundation for domain specific specialisation. These courses also cover case studies and capstone projects.

These are the courses which are offered at the institute levels. These are mainly the courses for professional & industry practices, Emerging Technologies, R&D, IPC, Globally practised Quality Models, Communication courses, Management courses etc. Courses are offered in the final year. Currently, every department offers 2-3 such courses. This is mainly to develop graduate attributes for scientific communication, project management, finance management, Lifelong Learning etc.These courses are mainly dedicated to fine-tuning the graduates for industry readiness and rewarding professional career in industry. For practical learning case studies are included. Students are also encouraged for field study and self /collaborative learning.

This is mainly focus to integrate the learning what has been learned in academic. Also students are familiarized for advancement in the subject , domain, industry, practice etc. and also what are the new emerging fields in the various domain of knowledge. Moreover, internship is learning industry environment, experiential learning and technology based on knowledge upgradation. In the nutshell this activity is mainly to make education pragmatic and contemporary.

These are practice oriented courses where students are put to rigorous training during the first four weeks of the semester. After training they are put on assignments/projects for the semester with continuous assessment. At the end of semester , they need to submit the reports and need to present the work along with learning. Learning are mainly understanding the concepts for application, application design and development, thinking based knowledge and data driven decision making. They also develop the attitude towards leadership, term work organizational mind set and behaviors.

Like previous courses, these courses are also practice oriented. Basic objective is allow the students to acquire industry orientation, professional skills specific to programmes and the employability skills. It is conducted at two levels. Department conduct for technology oriented.It also focusses to transition from campus to corporate and how to excel in corporate environment.

Non Credit Mandatory Course (MC)

These courses are non credit courses but passing is mandatory. Courses are conducted as the normal courses including examination. These courses normally cover the subjects viz IKS, Indian Culture, Indian Constitution, Human well-being, Ethics & Values, etc. This mainly to develop supplementary knowledge and life skills. These courses helps students to develop the confidence for rewarding career in industry , corporate and organization

This is mainly focused on specialisation in skill development, Emerging Technology or advanced learning in the course of studies.
