BCA / BBA

Bachelor of Computer Applications (B.C.A.) is a 3 to 4-year undergraduate degree focused on computer applications. It spans six to eight semesters. BCA addresses the rapidly expanding realm of information and communication technologies, essential components of virtually any business strategy. Businesses aiming to leverage the latest communication and information technologies require highly qualified individuals capable of tackling challenges at the intersection of technology and business using computer science concepts. Students enrolled in the BCA program are exposed to a wide array of computer applications, including the latest advancements in the field.

Eligiblity Criteria

(i)A candidate for being eligible for admission to the-yielding to the degree of Bachelor of Computer Applications must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Std. XII) examination conducted by the different Divisional Boards of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education with 45% marks (40% for candidates belonging to Reserved category) with the following subjects: - (from any stream).

English
Any one of the Modern Indian Languages or Modern Foreign Languages or any
Classical language or Information Technology/ Any four subjects carrying 100 marks each.

English
Any one vocational subject carrying 200 marks
Any three subjects carrying 100 marks each.

Must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Std. XII) examination with the Minimum competency-based vocational courses (MCVC) conducted by the different Divisional Boards of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.

Any one subject carrying 300 marks from among the Minimum Competency based vocational courses prescribed by the Higher Secondary School

Admission Procedure

Government of Maharashtra has established a State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET CELL) under Admission Regulating Authority (ARA) as per the provision in Section 10 of Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions and Fees) Act, 2015, (Herein after called the Act). The Competent Authority shall conduct the ENTRANCE TEST FOR FIRST YEAR OF THREE / FOUR YEAR FULL TIME UNDER GRADUATE DEGREE COURSE in Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA)/Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) for A Y 2024-25.
