Eligiblity Criteria

Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates:-

(i) should be a citizen of India;

(ii) should have Passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Agriculture or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies or Electronics or Entrepreneurship and obtained at least forty five per cent marks (at least forty per cent marks, in case of Reserved categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to the Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together and The Candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in PCM MHT-CET 2024 and obtained non zero score in PCM MHT-CET 2024 conducted by the Competent Authority;

OR

(iii) Should have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with the Mathematics or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Agriculture or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies or Electronics or Entrepreneurship as one of the subject and obtained at least forty five per cent marks (at least forty per cent marks, in case of Reserved categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to the Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together and the candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in MHT-CET 2024 and obtained non zero score in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) MHT-CET 2024 conducted by the Competent Authority is eligible for admission to any of the following Courses under major disciplines declared by concerned Appropriate Authority or All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), namely:-

(a) Agriculture Engineering;
(b) Biotechnology;
(c) Food Engineering;
(d) Leather Technology;
(e) Packaging Technology;
(f) Pharmaceutical Engineering;
(g) Printing Engineering;
(h) Fashion Technology; or
(i) Textile Chemistry;

(iv) Should have passed minimum three years Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least forty five per cent marks (at least forty per cent marks, in case of Reserved categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to the Maharashtra State only) ;

OR

(v) Passed three years Diploma of Vocation (D.Voc.) stream in the same or allied sector;

All India Candidature Candidates, Union Territory and Union Territory of Ladakh Migrant Candidature Candidates:-

(i) The Candidate should be an Indian National;

(ii) should have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Agriculture or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies or Electronics or Entrepreneurship and obtained at least forty five per cent. marks (at least forty per cent. marks, in case of Reserved categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together and obtained non zero positive score in Joint Entrance Test (JEE) (Main) Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) or The Candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in MHT-CET 2024 and obtained non zero score in MHT-CET 2024 conducted by the Competent Authority: Provided that preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non zero positive score in Joint Entrance Test (JEE) (Main) Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) over the candidates who obtained non zero score in MHT-CET 2024;

OR

(iii) The candidate should have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Agriculture or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies or Electronics or Entrepreneurship and obtained at least forty five per cent. marks (at least forty per cent. marks, in case of Reserved categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together and obtained non zero positive score in Joint Entrance Test (JEE) (Main) Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) or National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) or the candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in MHT-CET 2024 (PCM or PCB or PCMB) and obtained non zero score in MHT-CET 2024 conducted by the Competent Authority is eligible for admissions to the Courses under following major disciplines declared by relevant Appropriate Authority or All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), namely:-

(a) Agriculture Engineering;
(b) Biotechnology;
(c) Food Engineering;
(d) Leather Technology;
(e) Packaging Technology;
(f) Pharmaceutical Engineering;
(g) Printing Engineering;
(h) Fashion Technology; or
(i) Textile Chemistry:
Provided that, preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non zero positive score in Joint Entrance Test (JEE) (Main) Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) or National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) over the candidates who obtained non zero score in MHT-CET 2024;

OR

(iv) The candidate should have passed minimum three years Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least forty five per cent. marks (at least forty per cent. marks, in case of Reserved categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) ;

OR

(v) Passed three years Diploma of Vocation (D.Voc.) Stream in the same or allied sector;

Non Resident Indian (NRI) or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) or Person of Indian Origin (PIO), Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National Candidature Candidate:-

(i) The candidate should have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Agriculture or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies or Electronics or Entrepreneurship and obtained at least forty five per cent. marks in the above subjects taken together;

OR

(ii) The candidate should have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Agriculture or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies or Electronics or Entrepreneurship and obtained at least forty five per cent. marks is eligible for admission to the Courses under following Major Disciplines declared by relevant Appropriate Authority or All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), namely:-

(a) Agriculture Engineering;
(b) Biotechnology;
(c) Food Engineering;
(d) Leather Technology;
(e) Packaging Technology;
(f) Pharmaceutical Engineering;
(g) Printing Engineering;
(h) Fashion Technology; or
(i) Textile Chemistry:

and

(iii) Any other eligibility conditions and requirements declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act

  5. Migration Certificate ( in case of candidate passing qualifying exam. from any other Board other than Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education.)
  6. Gap Certificate on stamp paper of Rs.20/- duly notarized. (This is for those candidates who have passed HSC /12th Standard in March 2022 or before and presently not studying in any course / institution.)

  8. Caste Certificate for Backward class Candidates.
  9. Caste Validity Certificate for SC/ST/VJ/DT, (NT-A), (NT-B), (NT-C), (NT-D) /OBC/SBC.

Admission Procedure

Admissions in Under Graduate (UG) Engineering & Technology programmes are carried out in the institute as per the norms of Admission Regulatory Authority (ARA), MH-CET Cell, Directorate of Technical Education, Goverment of Maharashtra (GOM). The rules and regulations are prescribed by All India Council for Technical Education(AICT), GOM, Directorate of Technical Education – Maharashtra State and University of Mumbai are applicable. Admission are base on Eligibility criteria & respective entrance examination merit. All admission are done as per the schedule notify in leading newspapers & on college official website.

Important Instructions & Notices
  • The Pre-Admission form can be filled only online as per schedule.
  • Candidates will need to refer their qualifying examination marks sheet (year of passing, percentage, Board etc.) while filling the Pre-Admission form.
  • Personal Details: Candidates are supposed to fill all the personal information as stated in the form.
  • All the mandatory fields in the online Pre-Admission form are required to be filled before clicking on the submit button. The information furnished by the candidate will be treated as final and no subsequent changes will be allowed.
  • Candidates are required to pay processing fee Online (Rs. 1000 /-)for vacancy seats.
  • Please note, that your Pre-Admission forms will not be considered for the merit list unless the payment of processing fees.
  • On successfully submitting the online Pre-Admission form, an acknowledgement with “Online application no” is automatically generated. Candidates are requested to take a print (2 copies) of the same.
  • At the start page of every form, candidates are asked to enter their Email Id and password to register them for the account. A unique user id is generated and displayed. Please save this user id and the entered password carefully, as it will allow you to access your account, you can also use your Email ID and password. The account also allows you to reprint acknowledgment slips for Pre Admission forms submitted by you.

Admission Fess QR Code
  1. The refund of fees before cut-off date of admission shall be made within two days i.e. total fees minus the processing charges of Rs.1,000/-, or refund rule shall be as per the guidelines of the appropriate authorities or the State Government, as the case may be.
  2. If the admission is cancelled after the cut-off date of admission declared by the Competent authority, there shall be no refund except the Security Deposit and Caution Money Deposit.
