Students are working on different technologies. More than 300 students are working in 8 different Students Special Interest Group (SSIG). The overall monitoring and guidance of SSIG is done by Dean R&D Dr. Vinitkumar Dongre. SSIG submitted quality papers to Journals and working on Patent draft. Institute provides dedicated labs (discussion rooms) for each group with competing facilities. The details are as follows:

Nirmaan Hyperloop

Nirmaan Hyperloop is an interdisciplinary team of 44 members from the institute (SE, TE, BE –all branches). Some of the achievements of the team are:

  1. Among Top-5 teams in GHC-2024 (Global Hyperloop Conference, India) by IIT-Madras.
  2. Only team in Mumbai and Top 4 in Asia which participated in European Hyperloop Week (EHW), 2023 held at Edinburg, Scotland.
  3. NIRMAAN Team is amongst Top 6 Hyperloop Teams in India to have been invited by Indian Railways to present at “Conference on Hyperloop Transportation System an Indian Perspective” on 9th Dec. 2022 at Vadodara, India.

Current Status of Work: Successfully completed the research phase & entered the manufacturing phase of hyperloop pod. Control system to monitor the pod is ready.
